Description
Flux is an experimental 3D live cinema that explores the emotions of turbulence and acceptance through the story of an android discovering what it means to be human. Co-directed and performed by visual artist Kevin Peter He and musician Jake Oleson, this virtual performance aims to infuse the expressiveness of electronic music into the cinematic language using Unreal Engine.
Unfolding in real-time, the visual and sound performers use custom MIDI controllers to improvise the control of cameras, architecture, lighting, and scene editing, creating a cathartic narrative that evolves differently with each performance.
